I am delighted to confirm that your monkey adoption has been renewed. I hope you have enjoyed the materials you have received to date and that you continue to find our newsletters interesting.
As you know Frosty is doing well, and has formed a great relationship with Chanel, one of our other rescued capuchins. He is very sweet when they spend time together - he follows her around shyly and puts up with all manner of bad behaviour from her such as pulling his fur and even batting him over the head!
It has been an exciting time for the capuchins in the sanctuary. Their number has increased by 4 in the last few months. Mickey, Tanya and Jackie all came from the same home and have settled in very well. They have just started going in the same enclosures as our old capuchins. Charlie Brown has been here over 6 weeks now, which is their usual quarantine period, but he has worms so sadly has to stay away from the other monkeys until they have gone. This should hopefully be quite soon, and then he can meet Frosty and all the other capuchins properly.
The colony of woolly monkeys is also well although they are not enjoying the cold weather at the moment! Please find enclosed your adoption renewal pack including a new annual pass for the Monkey Sanctuary in Looe, an update on Frosty and a new certificate and photo.
